Impact idlers are equipped with high-quality rubber rings that fit tightly together, reducing the impact energy in the loading area, and preventing damage to the belt and idlers. For impact idlers in heavy belt conveyors with high mass flows and impact energies, the impact rings are additionally secured by weld-on rings.

In addition to deep groove ball bearings, spherical idler bearings are used in particularly heavy-duty applications.
